Open the Title tests tab
Go to SEO, Search performance, Title tests.
Start a test
Press Start a test, find a page and add it. Write B: the new SEO title, and a new meta description if you like.
Choose how long
Choose how long each turn lasts and how many turns; a week per turn gives the clearest answer. Tick Keep the winner automatically and press Start the test.
Read the result
When it ends, the test says which wording won and how sure it is. A test never leaves a page worse off by chance: without a clear winner the current wording stays.
